Just ordered this stapler and used it on 300sf. Great product. Not a single misfire.
This is a great Floor stapler holds much better then the cleats you will find it easy to use, if you are new at installing take a few minutes to test you air psi. on a small piece of wood your Installing, also take a fine sandpaper and sand the edges of the head of the staple gun to make sure that there is no burs on it that could scratch you floor. The shipping was fast John Fellegi
The pneumatic floor stapler worked great. Very heavy duty, solid, did not have any problems with plugging of staples. The one thing that would be nice is have a option for using a hand button when you got closer to the walls. I did ding a few walls as I got closer to the edge.
When the staple was mangled it sometimes split the tongue on the board, but not a big deal. We installed 3-1/4" brazilian walnut with this stapler and it worked very well most of the time. Every now and then it would mangle a staple and the staple had to be manually removed. We noticed that we had to keep the psi between 85 and 88 for this type of wood since it is so hard. Overall though the stapler functions well and is made of quality materials.
I used this product to install my first-ever pre-finished hardwood floor. It has the power to go through the hardest woods (I used maple). It never jammed, and the special foot designed for pre-finished wood left my floor mar free.
